Transparency in Coverage
Transparency in Coverage for Employees
Our commitment to the Transparency in Coverage Act, Effective July 1st, 2022.
Our commitment to our employees
Health plan price transparency helps consumers know the cost of a covered item or service before receiving care. Beginning July 1st, 2022, most group health plans and issuers of group or individual health insurance will be required to publish pricing information for covered items and services in accordance to the Transparency in Coverage Rules. This pricing information is available through machine-readable files (MRFs), which are formatted in a way that allows researchers, regulators, and application developers to access and analyze data to help consumers better understand the costs associated with their health care.
As a sponsor of self-funded healthcare plans, IDB Bank is committed to providing transparent pricing information that may impact policy holders. The machine-readable files (MRFs) containing health plan pricing information is are available through Cigna and can be accessed through this link.
Please note that this link is provided and maintained by IDB Bank’s health care partner, Cigna and leads to MRFs including negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed-amounts between health plans and healthcare providers.
